marcosolo, 9. Die Nachrichtenagnetur AP meldete: ?British police told the Israeli Embassy in London minutes before Thursday's explosions that they had received warnings of possible terror attacks in the city, a senior Israeli official said.Israeli Finance Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had planned to attend an economic conference in a hotel over the subway stop where one of the blasts occurred, and the warning prompted him to stay in his hotel room instead, government officials said. Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said he wasn't aware of any Israeli casualties. Just before the blasts, Scotland Yard called the security officer at the Israeli Embassy to say they had received warnings of possible attacks, the official said. He did not say whether British police made any link to the economic conference. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because of the nature of his position. (?)Amir Gilad, a Netanyahu aide, told Israel Radio that Netanyahu's entourage was receiving updates all morning from British security officials, and "we have also asked to change our plans." Netanyahu had been scheduled to stay in London until Sunday, but that could change, Gilad said." Einige Stunden später nun ändert sich die Geschichte, der israelische Außenminister dementiert, wie AP um 12 Uhr 37 meldet: ?Israel not warned about blasts - foreign minister Israel was not warned about possible terror attacks in London before at least six blasts ripped through the city, Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom said today. A Foreign Ministry official had said earlier that British police warned the Israeli Embassy in London of possible terror attacks minutes before the first explosion. ?There was no early information about terrorist attacks,? Shalom told Israel Army Radio. ?After the first explosion an order was given that no one move until things become clear.? Also keine Vorwarnung. Stattdessen, so meldet nun die Jerusalem Post heute früh, sei Nethanyahu kurz NACH dem ersten Anschlag gewarnt worden: "What one source did note, however, was that Finance Minister Binyamin Netanyahu received a call from British police soon after the first explosion, but before the full extent of the attacks was known, because it had occurred by the site of a conference at which he was to speak and for which he was about to depart. After the call from the police to his security staff, Netanyahu stayed put. One Jewish official suggested that the "conspiracy theory" about Israel's prior warning lasted all day, despite immediate official denials, because a dispute still rages about whether Israeli officials tipped off British intelligence before the Israeli Embassy was bombed in 1994. Others made a connection with the empty 9/11 rumor that Jews had received a warning to vacate the World Trade Center before the hijacked airplanes hit." Dass die JP dieses ?leere Gerücht? selbst in die Welt gesetzt hatte wird hier natürlich nicht mehr erwähnt. Und wie am 11.9. spricht auch heute alles dafür, diese Vorwarnungs-Gerüchte als bewußt gelegte falsche Spur einfach zu ignorieren? P.S.: Fintan Dunne, von BreakForNews.com sieht das ähnlich: The planners know that huge numbers of people are not going to believe that Al-Qaida planted the bombs. So they have a handy suspect lined up as a second-level misdirection. Israel. For the masses and the media, Patsy Number 1 is Al-Qaida. For those with brain cells, Patsy Number 2 is Israel/Sharon. This type of material also provides the likes of Democracy Now, Alex Jones, etc with talking points - with some sort of "controversy" to justify their claimed role "exposing" the truth. But they are not exposing anything. They are promoting the cover-up. Their role was built into the operation from the get go. I think it's wearing a bit thin. The big problem with the internet "conspiracy" sites coverage is that they are buying the Israeli connection -hook, line and sinker. Without bothering to do an analysis that asks if this story is merely disinfo. Either we have here a gang of second-rate analysts with a blind spot, or deliberate promotion of a cover-up aimed at internet skeptics of the official line. That's the question you have to ask when you see this Israeli connection stuff on the net. P.P.S.: Ebenso Xymphora in seinem wie immer lesenswerten Blog: "Had Israel been involved in the attack, it would have been much better prepared to spin it properly. The confusion is evidence of innocence." Beitrag von: broeckers |
