Nach dreitägiger Haft im Irak haben Mitarbeiter einer US-Sicherheitsfirma den im Gefängnis eingesetzten GIs Ungeheuerliches vorgeworfen.

Sie seien zusammen mit Terroristen in eine Zelle gesteckt, gedemütigt und körperlich misshandelt worden, sagte Matt Raiche, der zusammen mit 18 weiteren privaten Sicherheitskräften im vergangenen Monat auf dem US-Stützpunkt bei Falludscha inhaftiert war.

"Wenn er sich bewegt, lass den Hund los"

Die zur Bewachung der Gefangenen eingesetzten Marineinfanteristen hätten sie mit Hunden eingeschüchtert und sie gezwungen, sich auszuziehen, sagte der 34-jährige Raiche, selbst ein ehemaliger Marineinfanterist. Einer seiner Kollegen sei so fest auf den Boden gestoßen worden, dass dessen Kopf auf dem Asphalt aufgeschlagen sei.

"Er sagte mir, wie er einen Wachmann zum anderen habe sagen hören: ´Wenn er sich bewegt, lass den Hund los.´" Dann, so habe sein Kollege weiter berichtet, habe der Wachmann ihm zwischen die Beine gegriffen und "seine Hoden so fest zusammengedrückt, dass er sich kaum bewegen konnte". Vor dem Gang zur Toilette hätten die Wachleute ihnen geraten, sich ein Handtuch über den Kopf zu binden, damit die inhaftierten irakischen Rebellen sie nicht erkennen und attackieren würden.

"Wie fühlt sich das jetzt an?"

Ihm selbst habe ein Soldat bei der Ankunft auf dem Stützpunkt ein Knie in den Rücken gepresst und gesagt: "Wie fühlt sich das jetzt an, das dicke Geld als Kontraktor zu machen?" Als sich die Gefangenen über zu straff angezogene Handschellen beschwert hätten, hätten die Wachleute nur mit Fluchen reagiert, sagte Raiche. "Sie haben uns als Schurkensöldner bezeichnet."

Die Mitarbeiter der privaten Sicherheitsfirma Zapata Engineering wurden nach Angaben aus dem Pentagon inhaftiert, weil sie in Falludscha auf Autos irakischer Einwohner und auf US-Soldaten geschossen haben sollen. Die US-Streitkräfte wiesen die Vorwürfe zurück und erklärten, die gefangenen Amerikaner seien getrennt von irakischen Rebellen inhaftiert gewesen.

"Lediglich Warnschüsse abgegeben!"

Der Chef der Sicherheitsfirma, Manuel Zapata, erklärte, seine Mitarbeiter hätten lediglich Warnschüsse abgegeben. Nach der Freilassung am 1. Juni kehrte Raiche am Donnerstagabend nach Reno in Nevada zurück.

Die USA haben im Irak schätzungsweise 20 000 amerikanische Mitarbeiter von Sicherheitsfirmen als "contractors" verpflichtet. Mehr als 200 von ihnen sind bei ihrem Einsatz ums Leben gekommen.

They are starting to REWRITE history to protect Bush from impeachment

William Kristol (Bill Kristol) is chairman of "The New American Cenrtury" and they have already started writing papers that claim Bush and his administration DID NOT claim Saddam had WMD but that it was the Clinton administration who first said that Iraq had WMD. The idea is to neutralize de democrats in congress that (according to this document) share the blame for the false claims made for the war.

If you go through the document you get the sense that they are going to use finger pointing against the Clinton administration and the Democracts to evade any impeachment procedure.

These are two places of intrest in the document.

See: page 73 (Here they claim that the Bush administration did not claim that Iraq had Al Qaeda links and that the WMD from Saddam would end up in the hands of Al Qaeda. They seem to forget that Cheney went on Meet the Press and said that Iraq had WMD and direct links to Al Qaeda. They quote another apperence on MTP to confuse the reader. Bush himself said in a news conference in 2003 that HE was SURE and he had no doubts that Saddam had WMD and that they also had intelligence of Iraq Al Qaeda links)

See: 89 section V (On this section they claim that the Bush administration did not claim that Saddam was a threat to the US. They forget that Bush, Condoleeza Rice and others where all over the media claiming that if we did not go into Iraq the proof of his threat might come in the form of a "Mushroom Cloud".)

The Bush administration knows that there is more than enough evidence to impeach Bush. They know that any day a document or recording will surface that will blow the whole conspiracy WIDE open. Thats why they are getting ready for a fight that will drag the Democrats into the shit storm and in that way avoiding any serious consequences.

Breaking news - Kerry To Push For Bush Impeachment

John Kerry announced Thursday that he intends to present Congress with The Downing Street Memo, reported by the London Times 1 May 2005. As reported by NewsMax, the memo purports to include minutes from a July 2002 meeting with Tony Blair, in which Blair ostensibly said that President Bush's Administration "fixed" intelligence on Iraq in order to justify the Iraqi war. In an interview with the Standard Times, Kerry said: "It's amazing to me the way it escaped major media discussion. It's not being missed on the Internet, I can tell you that."

The Boston Globe published an article by Ralph Nader, Tuesday, in which Nader also called for President Bush's impeachment. The story is being carried on Michael Moore's website and the Democratic Underground.
